By Roman Tomashoff, Huskies Wire: Ahead of his first full season as the Washington Huskies‘ starting quarterback, Demond Williams Jr. looks noticeably different. The rising star has put on 15 pounds and said that he weighed in at 197 pounds coming into spring ball, after arriving on campus at 182, which has been one of his biggest focuses as he prepares for life in the Big Ten.
“Getting bigger and having a lot more lean mass on me,” Williams said when asked where he’s seen the most growth in his game since the Sun Bowl.
