Dawgman: Heading into the season, with the uncertainty surrounding the quarterback position, most believed the Washington Huskies would use a huge offensive line and a stable of hard-running tailbacks to wear down opposing defenses.
That’s exactly what they did in their season opener on Saturday night at Husky Stadium and they ran the ball 51 times for 264 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a hard-fought 27-21 win over Oregon State.
