By Roman Tomashoff, Huskies Wire: Coach Jedd Fisch and the Washington Huskies held their second spring scrimmage, which saw big plays from both sides of the ball, but it felt as if the defense won the day.
That came courtesy of a strong day from Washington’s defensive line, which was led by junior outside linebacker Jacob Lane. The product of Emerald Ridge High School took advantage of the opportunity presented to him, with Zach Durfee and Russell Davis II sidelined, he tallied multiple tackles for a loss on running back Jonah Coleman, and was able to consistently get pressure on quarterbacks Demond Williams Jr. and Kai Horton.
