By Shotgun Spratling, USCFootball: The New York Jets had two first round picks Thursday evening and there was little question they were planning to take BYU quarterback Zach Wilson with the No. 2 overall pick. However, they had the No. 23 overall selection as well and there were a number of different directions they could go to fill holes throughout the roster. But instead of staying at No. 23, the Jets chose to make a mid-round move. They traded up to No. 14 to select USC offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker. Here is how the national media graded the selection and a look at how Vera-Tucker fits into the franchise moving forward:
