By Isaac Trotter, 247Sports: The Big Ten’s bid for superconference status is alive and well. Washington and Oregon are slated to join the Big Ten ahead of the 2024-25 season, according to a report by 247Sports’ Brandon Marcello.
A college football money grab is at the core of realignment, but the Big Ten has always valued basketball. Despite well-documented whiffs in the NCAA Tournament, the Big Ten is aiming to give the Big 12 or the Big East a run for their money as the best basketball conference in the country.
