Bear Territory: The California Golden Bears’ 2021 recruiting efforts have taken a major step forward despite unusual times. Cal Head Coach Justin Wilcox addressed Wednesday what the program has done in this recruiting cycle to help boost its performance on the recruiting trail.
The Golden Bears have landed six commits who hold a four-star ranking either by 247Sports or the industry-generated Composite ranking – compared to four combined four-star commits in the last three classes since Wilcox’s arrival. Cal currently ranks No. 20 nationally and No. 3 in the Pac-12, compared to finishing between No. 39 and 43 nationally and No. 8 in the Pac-12 in the last three years
