The 2020 college football season will certainly look a lot different as the ripple effects of the COVID-19 pandemic continue. Four of the Power Five conferences have announced modifications to their schedules, and the Big 12 is expected to take action soon.
For the first time this week, we saw a player opt out of the 2020 college football season, and it wasn’t just anyone. Virginia Tech cornerback Caleb Farley — a projected first-round pick — announced he would not play this season due to concerns over COVID-19.
