By Thomas Goldkamp, On3 Sports: Four weeks of college football have now come and gone, and some players are starting to emerge as early Heisman Trophy favorites. It’s still far too soon to say definitively who has a shot to be a finalist, but FanDuel has odds based on what’s taken place thus far.
To no one’s surprise, the list is incredibly quarterback-heavy. Of the top 25 in the odds, all but seven are quarterbacks. Even a backup quarterback has made the cut.
Still, there’s plenty of time for players to make their cases before December rolls around. Some of the players topping the list now are sure to fade, while others from further down (or even off the list) are likely to emerge.
