By Chandler Vessels, On3: There was no shot of the goalpost staying inside Bobby Dodd Stadium after Georgia Tech upset No. 12 Clemson on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets used a last-second field goal to earn a 24-21 victory, their first against the Tigers in a decade.
Afterward, the fans stormed the field and took down the goalposts, as per tradition. Cameras followed the goalpost out of the stadium as a crowd of students carried it through campus. They eventually dropped it in a pool outside the President’s mansion on campus.
