Gary Payton II’s agent denies report he took Toradol shots with Blazers

By Aaron Fentress, The Oregonian/OregonLive: Gary Payton II never took Toradol shots in order to play in games during his time with the Portland Trail Blazers, his agent, Aaron Goodwin, tells The Oregonian/OregonLive.

Goodwin’s denial came in response to a Friday report from The Athletic that cited unnamed sources who said Payton failed his physical with the Warriors following a trade with the Blazers.
