By Scott Eklund, Dawgman: After waiting patiently for the start of his senior season, future Husky quarterback Sam Huard took the field on Friday night to lead his team into battle. What resulted was a 49-14 blowout win over Tahoma that was even more lopsided that the final score would indicated.
During the first three quarters of the game, Huard marched his team up and down the field at will, finishing the night 26 of 35 for 495 yards and seven touchdowns. He didn’t throw a pass in final eight minutes of the game.
