By Jackson Moore, BarkBoard: The Fresno State Bulldogs made a coaching change on Saturday. Two days later, head coach Matt Entz announced he will be staying the course with Carson Conklin as the starting QB.
Senior E.J. Warner had started the first seven games, leading a 5-2 record but throwing for 10 touchdowns to 9 interceptions in the process. He was also completing 69% of his passes and had 1,486 yards (212.3 per game).
After Warner threw three interceptions in a 49-21 loss at Colorado State, Entz revealed that the Bulldogs opened up the idea of making a change during the bye week.
