Fresno State begins first OV weekend as 'Dogs aim for another big summer

By Jackson Moore, Bark Board: Official visit season is here and Fresno State looks to capitalize in the summer for a second straight season. Last year’s first-ever attempt at May/June official visits proved to be fruitful for the program. This weekend, the Bulldogs will welcome their first batch of visitors for the 2027 class.

As college football’s recruiting calendar has shifted to the summer being the most critical stretch of the cycle, past Fresno State staffs had avoided bringing in recruits during some of the Central Valley’s warmest weekends. But last year head coach Matt Entz and his staff went all in on the national trend of hosting official visits.
