247Sports: The selection of the four-team College Football Playoff stirred up quite a bit of drama about teams that were left out, or teams that got in and might not have deserved to be in. But one controversy that did not really get much discussion was the lack of a Pac-12 team in the playoff. FOX Sports’ Joel Klatt explained why the conference has become, “irrelevant,” in the discussion.
This year, the Pac-12 Conference was already behind the eight-ball when it came to this year based on the setup of the season.
