By Marcus Russell, Building the Dam: Noted college baseball insider Kendall Rogers is reporting that Pat Casey has emerged as the lead candidate to become the next head baseball coach at LSU University. He dropped his scoop on twitter Wednesday afternoon.
Pat Casey was a baseball coach at the collegiate level for 31 years before deciding to take a step back after winning a his third CWS in 2018. Since that time he’s been in an administrative role for the Beavers, but has never ruled out a return to the diamond.
