Former Oregon QB breaks records in Canadian Football League

By Bjorn Bergstrom, Ducks Wire: The NFL may not have been in the cards for Vernon Adams Jr., but an impressive career in the Canadian Football League certainly has been. Long having been one of the top passers in the CFL since joining the league in 2016, the former Oregon Ducks quarterback had the best game of his career on July 2.

Suiting up for the Calgary Stampeders, Adams completed 20 of 25 passes for 405 yards and six touchdowns, tying a franchise record held by four other quarterbacks, most notably Doug Flutie (1994) and Jeff Garcia (1995), both of whom went on to have successful NFL careers.
