Former Oregon guard Jamari Phillips lands with Washington State

By Bjorn Bergstrom, Ducks Wire: Jamari Phillips was among eight Oregon Ducks that entered the transfer portal in early April, and he’s now found a new home. Per CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz, Phillips has signed with the Washington State Cougars.

Phillips committed to Oregon as a four-star recruit and the No. 61 player overall in the 2024 class, per 247 Sports Composite. But he never quite carved out a consistant role in the Ducks’ backcourt, averaging just 9.2 minutes per game in his two seasons.
