By Dan Raley, Inside The Huskies: Sam Huard, the former University of Washington quarterback, didn’t waste any time getting people excited about his possibilities for Cal Poly by completing his first nine passes Saturday in the Mustangs’ closing spring scrimmage.
On Saturday in San Luis Obispo, the 6-foot-2, 193-pound sophomore from Bellevue, Washington, wowed everyone by completing 11 of 12 passes for 145 yards and touchdown passes of 12 yards to Tyrece Fairly-Diyem and 33 yards to Logan Booher.
