By Raymond Lucas Jr., Dawgman: The Miami Dolphins took a big step forward throughout the offseason by hiring former San Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel as head coach and then later trading for ex-Kansas City Chiefs star wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
The team also quietly improved its running back room which leaves returning starter Myles Gaskin with added competition heading into the new season with the arrival of Sony Michel, Raheem Mostert and Chase Edmonds. Gaskin’s former Washington teammate Salvon Ahmed is still in the mix as well.
