By Chance Linton, Dawgman: Arizona Cardinals safety Budda Baker was carted off the field and transported to a local hospital following a scary collision during Monday night’s NFC Wild-Card matchup with the NFC West-rival Los Angeles Rams.
The former University of Washington standout sustained an apparent head injury in the third quarter after colliding with Rams running back Cam Akers while attempting to make a tackle in the red zone. Baker was down for several minutes before being taken off the field on a stretcher.
