247Sports: Budda Baker’s transition to full-blown NFL star has been a relatively quick one. The Arizona Cardinals’ safety was a dominant high school player, ranked as the No. 6 athlete and No. 53 overall player in the 247Sports Composite.
Then he became a dominant player at Washington, turning from a USA Today Freshman All-American to a two-time first-team All-Pac-12 pick and a consensus All-American. And now, as Baker’s stacked up two Pro Bowl berths in three NFL seasons and earned a spot on the NFL’s top 100 players list, he’s surprised even himself with how good he’s been at times.
