By Vinny Saglimbeni, KTVB.com: The University of Idaho Vandals have named a new quarterback for the 2025 season.
Former Fresno State quarterback Joshua Wood was named starting QB for the Vandals on Sunday.
The redshirt sophomore transfer played in all 13 games last year as a special-play situational QB. Woods’ biggest game in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl last year against Northern Illinois University, throwing for 180 yards and a touchdown while also carrying the ball 11 times for 32 yards and a score.
