Duck Territory: Former Oregon star Satou Sabally was undoubtedly one of the most impactful first-year players in the WNBA this season. On Sunday, the league recognized her accomplishments when it announced her selection to this year’s All-Rookie team.
The second overall selection in April’s WNBA Draft behind Oregon teammate Sabrina Ionescu, Sabally was long considered a frontrunner for the league’s Rookie of the Year award, eventually losing out to Minnesota’s Crystal Dangerfield.
