247Sports: The 2020 NFL season will go down in history as the most unusual in the sport’s century-long history. At times, it was considered a toss-up in terms of there being a season at all with the COVID-19 pandemic gripping the nation.
Getting through the regular season, although not without a few interruptions, may go down as one of the great success stories in NFL history. Many wondered how a campaign that did not feature the usual in-person offseason team activities or preseason games would impact the quality of play or health of the players.
