By Jared Mack, Duck Territory: With CJ Verdell lost for the year after sustaining an injury in Oregon’s 31-24 loss to Stanford, the running back room loses one of the best running backs in the country.
The Ducks will still feature a talented group, headline by Travis Dye, Verdell’s partner in crime the last four seasons, but a trio of freshman running backs will be pushed into the spotlight moving forward.
