By Tony Cosolo, Buffaloes Wire: Former Colorado football offensive coordinator and interim head coach Mike Sanford has been named head football coach at Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Sanford coached at CU during the 2022 season and was named interim head coach after Karl Dorrell was fired midseason.
Sanford, the son of former UNLV and Indiana State head coach Mike Sanford Sr., has been all across the country throughout his coaching career.
