Sun Devil Source: Jaylin Marshall, a four-star defensive back at Hallandale (Fla.) High School, gave Arizona State a big early commitment on Wednesday in celebration of his birthday.
Marshall, 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, reported early scholarship offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Miami, Oklahoma, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas and numerous other Division I programs, but said he simply developed a better relationship with the ASU coaches than anywhere else.
