CU BuffZone: The Colorado Buffaloes will finally get on the practice field Friday and Karl Dorrell will have a lot to do in order to get his football team ready for the season opener.

Preseason practices will feature battles for starting jobs and playing time at every position, but no competition will be as closely monitored as the one at quarterback.
