By Don Smalley, Ducks Wire: Football is a contact sport and injuries occur. You just don’t want to have a long list of the walking wounded even before the season begins, but compared to some other teams around the country, the Oregon Ducks seem to be in good shape as they prepare for the season-opening game against Idaho on Saturday.
However, they do have a couple of people on that list heading into Game 1 of the season, with a few players on the Oregon roster getting banged up during fall camp and needing to sit out for the start of the season.
