By Trevor Booth, Sun Devil Source: Santa Margarita Catholic (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.) 2022 defensive tackle Hero Kanu has seen his recruitment take off in the last few weeks, reporting 14 of his first 15 scholarship offers in the midst of his first high school football season.
The development has even surprised Kanu, the No. 24 defensive tackle prospect nationally and No. 35 recruit in California by 247Sports, who moved to the United States from Germany in September to pursue a career in the sport. In his words, his rising interest has felt like “the American Dream.”
