By Brad Crawford, 247Sports: The family of former USC football player Chris Brown, 24, acknowledged his recent death on Sunday in a message passed along by Trojans coach Clay Helton.
Brown signed with the Trojans in 2014 as part of a star-studded recruiting class that also included Adoree’ Jackson and JuJu Smith-Schuster. After redshirting in his first season on campus, he appeared in 27 games as a reserve over the 2015 and 2016 seasons before taking over as a starter in 2017.
