Extended dead period and how it can affect UCLA recruiting

Bruin Report Online: The NCAA has extended the recruiting Dead Period again, this time until January 1st, 2021.

It had previously been extended a couple of times because of the pandemic and was most recently in effect until the end of September.

In a Dead Period, college coaches cannot host prospects on their college campuses for official or unofficial visits, and cannot visit them in-person on their high school campuses.
