By Barry Bolton, CougFan: Expanded beer and wine sales in Washington State’s Martin Stadium will not be on tap for the season opener Saturday night against Idaho, and likely not in time for the San Diego State game either, but that doesn’t mean the long-sought quest to sell alcohol outside the premium setting areas is dead for this football season.
The news is both a surprise and not a surprise.
