By Jeff Fisher, High School Football America: Brock Huard is the new tight ends coach at Valor Christian in Colorado. The former NFL quarterback told the Real Hawk Talk Podcast that he’s leaving his current role as the No. 2 color commentator on FOX Sports’ college football broadcasts to be an assistant coach on his son’s high school football team in Highlands Ranch.
Huard’s son Titus will be a sophomore at VC this season. Like dad, Titus plays quarterback. Despite not playing a lot at the varsity last year, Stetson has already offered the younger Huard a scholarship.
“These are years…these formative years for my son, who’s going to be a sophomore…these are years I’ll never ever get back and I’m going to jump into it,” Huard told the podcast.
