Pac-12 becomes first FBS conference to hire a Chief Technology Officer

By Pac-12 Conference: Pac-12 Commissioner Teresa Gould today announced the appointment of Scott Adametz as Chief Technology Officer, adding an experienced leader to the conference’s leadership team. With his appointment, the Pac-12 is the first FBS conference to hire a CTO. Adametz officially began his tenure with the Pac-12 in May as the league continues to build toward its launch for the 2026-27 season.

In his role, Adametz is responsible for  aligning technology strategy with the Pac-12’s mission and vision, helping the league remain at the forefront of innovation, fan engagement, and operational excellence and leverage technology, data, and AI as a key part of its go-forward strategy and business model. He will oversee all aspects of technology, blending strategic leadership with hands-on operational oversight, while also serving as a key member of the conference’s leadership..
