Ex-Fresno St DB Morice Norris taken away in ambulance in NFL preseason game

By Jackson Moore, BarkBoard: The sports world turned its focus to the health of a former Fresno State Bulldog on Friday. Morice Norris suffered an apparent head/neck injury in an NFL preseason game that required an ambulance escort out of the stadium.

On a tackle attempt, Norris collided with the ball-carrier and then fell unconscious to the turf. He received immediate medical attention in a lengthy halting of the game. Norris was taken from Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium to a local hospital for further evaluation.

Former Bulldog Morice Norris taken off field in ambulance

Former Fresno State Bulldog defensive back Morice Norris suffered a frightening injury in his NFL Preseason game with the Detroit Lions on Friday. The game was ended early. Lions head coach Dan Campbell indicated that Norris is "breathing, talking and has some movement."
