By Robby McCombs, Vanguish the Foe/SB Nation: BYU is handing over the reigns to a true freshman as Bear Bachmeier will be BYU’s starting Quarterback, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.
An early enrollee at Stanford in January, Bear transferred with his brother, Tiger, in May after Stanford fired head coach Troy Taylor.
Bear won the starting job over returnees McCae Hillstead and Treyson Bourquet.
