By JD McCarthy, Trojans Wire: Lincoln Riley and the USC Trojans have their first commitment in the 2028 recruiting cycle, and it is a major one. Four-star wide receiver Roye Oliver III committed to them on Friday
Oliver is from Chandler, Arizona, and had over two dozen scholarship offers from programs across the country. The Trojans have been recruiting him for over a year, offering him a scholarship in January of 2025 and hosting him on several visits since then, including one earlier this month.
