247Sports: The latest NCAA men’s basketball AP Top 25 poll that was released on Monday was not friendly to three of the most iconic brands in the sport, as neither Kentucky, Duke or North Carolina were ranked in the top 25.
And if you’re having trouble recalling the last time that none of those three traditional powers were ranked, well, that’s not exactly a coincidence. According to ESPN Stats & Info, Monday marked the first time since Dec. 1961 that none of the three schools could be found in AP Top 25 rankings.
