By Erik Skopil, Duck Territory: It’s a good thing Oregon’s 2021 season isn’t set to start anytime soon. Oregon’s running back room has been hit with major attrition this spring, leaving them to rely upon walk-ons for significant practice reps.
First the Ducks lost two backs to transfer, as Cyrus Habibi-Likio and Jayvaun Wilson each elected to take on opportunities elsewhere. Most recently, third-year freshman Sean Dollars has been lost for spring with a leg injury, joining Trey Benson as a sidelined scholarship back. The Ducks did sign a pair highly-regarded signees in Seven McGee and Byron Cardwell in their recruiting class, but neither player will enroll until later this year.
