Duck fans show love & appreciation to Ty Thompson after QB enters portal

By Zachary Neel, Ducks Wire: The writing has unfortunately been on the wall for a few hours, a few days, a few weeks, and a few years if we’re being completely honest. On Sunday morning, Oregon Ducks quarterback Ty Thompson officially announced that he would be entering the transfer portal and ending his time in Eugene.

After three seasons with the team, Thompson saw yet another transfer portal QB brought in over the weekend, expected to jump him on the depth chart, leading to his decision to find a new program that he can join in order to have a shot at the QB1 spot.
