The NIL collective operator-turned-consultant was already facing a precarious future in the post-House v. NCAA era, where schools can directly compensate athletes, taking over many of the NIL duties that had previously belonged to third-party collectives.
In a bid to survive the NIL space’s rapid consolidation, Blueprint announced in February that it had acquired rival collective operator Student Athlete NIL (SANIL), declaring the formation of an “NIL Powerhouse Agency.”
