By Dennis Dodd, CBS Sports: The House vs. NCAA case qualifies as one of the most significant legal milestones in sports history (not just college sports). There were similar fights in the NFL and Major League Baseball when their unions were formed, but they had representation. Their goal was to unite.
The House settlement, however, may tear college sports apart.
“This settlement is unworkable,” players’ rights activist Ramogi Huma told CBS Sports. “The schools are beginning to find that out.”
