Dellenger: Lane Kiffin expected to be next LSU football head coach

By Ross Dellenger, Yahoo Sports: Lane Kiffin has made it clear to Ole Miss administrators that he will be the next head coach at LSU, sources told Yahoo Sports. An Ole Miss team meeting initially called for 9 a.m. CT was moved to 1 p.m. on Sunday.

Holding a $90-plus million offer from LSU, Kiffin and Ole Miss administrators discussed his future Saturday — specifically his intention to continue to lead the No. 7 Rebels in the College Football Playoff.

The meeting among Kiffin, Ole Miss athletic director Keith Carter and chancellor Glenn Boyce lasted more than three hours.
