By Cody Nagel, 247Sports: The selection committee controversially left Florida State out of the College Football Playoff in a Sunday snub, making the Seminoles the first undefeated Power Five conference champion excluded from the four-team field since the format began in 2014.
The choice to put a one-loss SEC Champion Alabama in the Playoff was met with plenty of blowback from across the college football landscape. But Colorado coach Deion Sanders says the committee made a business decision.
