By Brian Schaible, The Sporting News: Deion Sanders joined co-host Mark Johnson on the Coach Prime Colorado Coaches Show this week and set the tone for Saturday’s matchup with Delaware.
Prime spoke very highly of the Blue Hens. “Good, well coached…they’re going to try to spin it…They’re gonna throw the ball around. They got a quarterback who has come in because their starter blew his knee out, I believe. This guy is not a stranger to playing, though.”
Coach Prime got a little more serious when the topic shifted to game preparation. “When a game like this, when a team comes up, this is the first FBS game, right? They’re moving up, right? And young people have a tendency to go, ‘Well, they’re not the same. They’re not coming from the SEC or the ACC…we’re everybody’s Super Bowl, you know. Forget where they come from…We’re going to get their best.”
