By Carter Bahns, 247Sports: Colorado plays one of the latest college football games of the season this weekend when it hosts Kansas State for a showdown with significant Big 12 and College Football Playoff implications. Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes are set for an 8:15 p.m. local kickoff against the Wildcats in a clash between two rising conference title hopefuls, and the start time did not sit well with the second-year coach, who ripped television executives for the decision to give Colorado the late slot.
There will be little competition for eyeballs in the late window as the contest at Folsom Field headlines the nighttime slate, but Sanders noted that much of the East Coast will miss an opportunity to watch his team hit the field against a ranked opponent.
