By Charlie Strella, Buffaloes Wire: The past offseason featured a chaotic coaching carousel that saw several big-name head coaches lose their jobs and many blue-blood programs, including Michigan, LSU, Auburn, and Florida, name new head coaches.
As the 2026 spring camps begin, ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg broke out his coaching hot seat tiers, ranging from “the hottest of hot” to “retirement watch.”
Perhaps unsurprisingly, given his recent health scares, Colorado head coach Deion Sanders comes in under the “retirement watch” tier.
