By The Sporting News: Colorado Buffaloes football coach Deion Sanders’ absence on the recruiting trail this offseason reportedly had little effect on prospects’ interest in committing to CU one way or another.
That’s the reporting USA Today’s Brent Schrotenboer is presenting, anyway.
Schrotenboer shared that no recruit the coaching staff spoke to admitted that Sanders’ absence affected their decision.
“USA TODAY Sports discussed this with recruits who said they were told that Sanders was out sick when they visited. None said Sanders’ absence played a role in their decisions,” Schrotenboer wrote.
