Daiyan Henley won't play in LA Bowl; Jake Dickert will handle DC role

By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: Jake Dickert said during his press conference on Friday he would be serving as the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach for Washington State in the LA Bowl next Saturday after Brian Ward reportedly took the defensive coordinator job at Arizona State.

But Dickert will be doing so without linebacker Daiyan Henley who is sitting out the game in order to prepare for the NFL, although he will be on the WSU sideline when the game kicks off at 12:30 p.m. on ABC.
